WFTB Events Coordinator

We are seeking a Timebank Events Co-ordinator to run events for the Woolmer Forest Timebank project in Whitehill & Bordon
Part Time: 12-18 Hours p/w to include evenings and weekends
£11.93 per hour (FTE £22,953 per annum)
Fixed term for 1 year
We need an Events Coordinator to plan and execute promotional and social events within Whitehill and Bordon, for the Woolmer Forest Timebank Community.
The duties include: organising social events, hiring venues and contractors, organising transport for guests, completing risk assessments prior to the event. Getting to know the Timebank members and finding out what is wanted and needed in the local area.
This role is perfect for those who prefer to work from home, love flexible hours & have other commitments that other jobs don’t allow you to work around!

Due to successful funding bids Community First is urgently seeking to increase its range of tutors to join its expanding bank of trainers who have a desire to utilise their skills working with a range of voluntary groups across Hampshire. Community First Training works across Havant, East Hants and Winchester, Fareham and New Forest districts but works with groups on a 1:1 basis in other areas.
– Exercise/yoga

– Healthy Eating/cooking on a budget/for one
– Cutting food bills/bulk cooking/weekly menu planning + cost
– Saving Energy
– IT/Digital Inclusion
– Attendance Allowance & Form filling
– Board games for families involving money, such as Monopoly
– Family Budgeting
– Back to work benefits checks
– Helping Boards/Trustees with Profit/Loss accounts, Cash Flow Forecasting, How to save money in Community Buildings
– Families – homework
– Anything else involving Maths (soft outcomes of Maths, so for example working out families finances and their income against outcome)
Essential Requirements:
– Relevant adult education teaching certificate
– Annual online training in Safeguarding
– Received training on Prevent and British Values
– Experience of delivering online courses
– Have Zoom or similar owned accounts
Desirable Requirements:
– Experience of working in an educational environment, such as Colleges/Schools
– Delivery of courses outlined above
– Experience of completion of relevant paperwork/forms (e.g. lesson plans, scheme of work, attendance sheets/evaluations and progression of learners)
Delivery will be mainly face to face with some online delivery across the areas of Winchester, East Hants and Havant.

Volunteer Drivers in all Areas
Do you enjoy driving? Do you have some free time? Would you like to be involved in your local community? Come and volunteer for Community First and make a difference in your local area.
We need volunteer drivers to help transport passengers to activities such as lunch clubs and social activities.
One of our volunteers commented: “Our lives are busy and it can be hard to find the time to volunteer, but the benefits can be really great if you find a place and job you enjoy. Volunteering your time can enhance your life in a variety of ways, those that benefit from your help will be happy you did no matter the reason.”
