Donating to help Afghan Evacuees

Thank you for your interest in helping Afghan families in Hampshire

Community First worked in collaboration with Hampshire County Council and other partners to coordinate the collection and distribution of donated items to support those being offered temporary accommodation in Hampshire.

Due to the amazing response we had in our region, we currently have enough donated clothing and have therefore paused the collection of donations until further notice.

Thank you to everyone that kindly donated in support of the families evacuated from Afghanistan.  The response from the local community, from donations – churches, local groups, streets coming together, local charities, businesses – to volunteers working in our collection hubs, has been astounding and truly heart-warming.  From the New Forest up to Basingstoke; Hart down to Havant; and everywhere in-between, the response has been overwhelming, with our collection hubs busy receiving your drop-offs and our teams working hard to get your kind gifts to where they are so urgently needed. Here at Community First, we continue to be rightly proud of our region. Well done and thank you once again Hampshire!

What can I do to I help then?

Why not consider donating an amazon voucher to help us support the evacuees purchase any items their individual family needs?  You can donate gift vouchers or mobile top-up cards at any Community First office or by posting to our Fareham office at 163 West Street, Fareham, PO16 0EF.  Thank you!

Can I donate money to help?
