Improve your return-to-work confidence by building your self-efficacy.
Time: 10:00 - 13:00
This is a four day course on 17th, 24th November and 1st, 8th December (required to attend all 4 days)
Self-efficacy is a person’s belief in their ability to succeed in a particular situation. If you have low self-efficacy about getting back to work, then you feel less motivated and behave in negative ways that make you less likely to achieve your goal; you may see barriers as insurmountable blocks rather than challenges to overcome, you lose focus and interest more quickly, and you struggle to pick yourself up again when you hit an inevitable setback.
This course will help you to:
*Recognise the signs and symptoms of low self-esteem and other negative emotions
*Identify strategies for building self-esteem
*Develop ideas to increase motivation
*Challenge negative automatic thoughts
*Set and review goals for the future
