Gosport Community Fund
Community First manage the Gosport Community Fund which is available to community and voluntary organisations working in the borough of Gosport. There is also an opportunity for individuals who reside in Gosport to apply for funding for community projects or one off events. Details of the fund are as follows:
Gosport Community Fund – The Gosport Community Lottery has enabled Community First to be able to offer one-off grants to local good causes through the Gosport Community Fund (GCF). Grants are available for charitable activities undertaken in the borough of Gosport, with a value of £50 to £1,500 for organisations and £50 to £250 for individuals.
The Gosport Community Fund is currently OPEN and will close on March 9th 2025.
How to apply
To apply for a grant, please follow the 4 steps below:

3. Complete the application form via our website:

You will be required to create a login and you will be able to save and edit the application until you are ready to submit.

4. Gather together the required documents and submit with your application online
Please ensure all required documents are submitted. You will receive an email with a copy of your application after you have submitted online.

How will applications be assessed?
Applications will be reviewed by the Grants Funding Board, which is made up of representatives from the voluntary, statutory and private sector. Please read the guidance notes to find out what the panel will be looking for and what you will need to demonstrate in your application.
What happens next?
If you’re successful you’ll receive an email from the Grants Team letting you know and forwarding your offer letter and grant agreement. This will detail the terms and conditions of the grant and will refer to the Marketing and & Branding Guidelines, Payment Request form and End of Project Report Template, please see below. Once you have met any requirements and signed your Grant Agreement, payment will be made by BACS according to the payment terms.
If you’re unsuccessful you’ll receive an email from the Grants Team letting you know the decision and offering any relevant feedback.
