Job Title: Fundraising and Marketing Coordinator
Employment Type: Part- Time 30 Hours a week
Mission Statement: Our mission is to improve the wellbeing of adults with learning disabilities through activities that will help them to feel valued and be valued within their community. We provide organised activities facilitated by our Activities Co-ordinator, Assistant Facilitators and Volunteers, at a variety of venues across Fareham. Our Members are canvassed for their opinion on what activities they would like to participate in and we try our hardest to make it happen. We aim to operate across 50 weeks of the year.

Job Summary: As the Fundraising and Marketing Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in raising funds for key to joy. You will be responsible for developing and executing fundraising campaigns, coordinating marketing efforts, and engaging with donors and supporters. Your work will directly contribute to our ability to support our mission and initiatives.
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies,
- Plan and execute fundraising events and campaigns.
- Create and manage fundraising materials, including grant applications, sponsorship packages.
- Coordinate and oversee marketing and communications efforts, including social media, email marketing, and website content.
- Develop and maintain a content calendar, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging.
- Assist in the creation of marketing collateral and promotional materials.
- Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of fundraising and marketing efforts and make data-driven improvements.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure alignment of fundraising and marketing strategies with Key to joy goals and mission.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging opportunities to enhance our fundraising and marketing efforts.
- Experience in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in fundraising, or marketing.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and content management systems.
- Knowledge of fundraising databases and CRM systems is a plus.
- Creative and innovative thinking, with the ability to generate and execute innovative ideas.
- Strong organisational and critical thinking skills.
