Summer Playscheme vacancies  – Childcare & Playworkers

We are looking for experienced & qualified (Level 3+), newly qualified (Level 2/3), and unqualified (some or no experience) childcare, play work, sports staff to work with children 5-11 years.

Our playscheme is OFSTED registered and grant funded and caters for vulnerable children from the local community. We offer a range of indoor and outdoor activities and provide a cooked lunch for all children and staff each day. The playscheme operates Monday to Friday during August. Staff will be employed to work 6-8 hours per day (depending on the job role). The job roles are initially for the summer playscheme period but we could offer suitable applicants ongoing part time and term time positions in our nursery, cafe or as supply staff to cover staff absences.

Team Leader –   Level 3+ qualified and experienced  Early Years/Childcare/Playwork or similar

Lead worker –  Level 3 qualified –  Early Years/Childcare/Playwork or similar

Playworker  – Level 2 child care, playwork, sports

Playworker/support worker – unqualified/trainee

Playworker/support worker – unqualified/trainee

Must have availability to work Monday-Friday 1st August- 26th August 2022
