The Project Lead Youth Worker role is a senior role with the responsibility of overseeing the delivery of our range of project sessions, including outreach sessions, Friday Football and targeted workshops. This is an exciting role where the successful candidate will have the responsibility of planning engaging and creative sessions to help young people keep safe and lead healthy lives.  The role will involve training and supporting the youth work team and working closely with the Operational Lead worker.  You will also help lead sessions around topics such as substance misuse in local Secondary Schools.

The successful candidate must have experience in planning and delivering work with young people or vulnerable adults. We are keen to receive applications from those with previous experience in health and social care roles including in Youth Offending, as well as arts or sports leaders.  Please be aware this is not an entry-level position.  It is a requirement to have a Driver’s License for this role.

You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to creatively engage young people that may be vulnerable or ‘hard to reach’.  We are looking for a reliable and strong team player, who leads by example.
