Accounting in the Community Clinics from University of Portsmouth

18/03/2019

If you’re a trustee of a charity in Hampshire needing help with your accounting, our pro bono accounting clinic can help get your finances in order.

We can help with accounting issues such as independent examinations and annual reviews
of internal controls. We can also provide finance training for your trustees.

The clinic is led by our second and final year Accounting and Finance students. They are
supervised by a qualified accountant who is a specialist in charity audits.

The students will meet you at the charity, accompanied by their tutor, to discuss your
requirements. Students will work on the project remotely and can visit you at the charity to
gather more information if needs be. You will be given a written report at the end of the
project. The work is expected to be carried out between September 2019 and January 2020.

If you would like any further information you are welcome to contact
