Live Twitter Q&A: John Sennett on his £100,000 Year of Fundraising

Live Twitter Q&A: 27th March at 20:00-21:00

Community First will be hosting a live and interactive Twitter Q&A session with John Sennett, the fundraiser and blogger from The Story of John Sennett. It will take place from 8 until 9pm on Tuesday 27th March, and can be viewed on Community First’s Twitter and on the Community First Winchester Twitter.

John is spending 2018 completing a £100,000 year of fundraising, consisting of 11 different challenges over 12 months. Each challenge will raise funds for a different charity whose work has a personal meaning for him.

For March, he’s completing 21 Marathons in 21 Days in a Wheelchair for Crohn’s & Colitis UK as a non wheelchair user. His goal for this month’s challenge is to raise £21,000 towards research that will help people with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, which are chronic and life-disrupting conditions. He’s taking time to join us for the live Q&A just after completing his 16th marathon earlier in the day.

In the Q&A, he will be taking questions about fundraising, his challenges, his work with the charity sector, and the causes he’s fundraising for. It’s a great opportunity to find out about how he engages people with the charities he supports, how to become involved with fundraising, and how he plans and prepares for his challenges.

Here are some ways to find out what John is up to…

We hope you will join us to chat with him about his incredible fundraising efforts.
