We are pleased to inform you that our newly formed Volunteer Managers Network will be holding its first meeting in Havant on Wednesday 12th February.
Our first meeting will include a workshop delivered by Dr Debra Gray of the University of Winchester. Dr Gray will be presenting the results of her research into volunteering motivation as well as how to improve volunteer recruitment and retention. We shall also provide an opportunity for networking with fellow managers.
This workshop for the network will be held on the morning of Wednesday 12th February at The Plaza, Havant Borough Council. For further information on the workshop and registration please sign up on Eventbrite.
Please note you will need to register for this workshop so that we know how many people will be attending.
Dr Gray will also be delivering the workshop in Eastleigh, Farnborough, and Lyndhurst. Further details and registration for these workshops can also be found on the following links:
* The Eastleigh and Lyndhurst workshops are now fully booked *
We look forward to seeing you on 12th February.
If you would like to hear from experts and join the discussion around the impact of volunteers in uncertain times, tickets are still available for our Volunteering for the Future event on 24th January at Ageas Bowl. We will debate the key questions and issues which can help engage and inspire a new generation of volunteers, look at how volunteers can help tackle some of the challenges we face in society and harness the power of volunteering to make life better for everyone.
