Fareham Heart Conditions Peer Support Group
Heart Conditions
Are you living with a heart condition?
Living with a heart condition can often make you feel isolated and alone. It is really important to look after your own health and wellbeing and to take good care of yourself.
Community First are setting up a peer support group at Community First’s offices at 163 West Street in Fareham on the third Monday of the Month from 12-2pm. The group is there to share your lived experience with compassion, honesty and empathy to help other people who are also experiencing their own challenges.
Research shows that peer support can improve people’s well-being, meaning they have fewer hospital stays, visits to the Doctor, larger support networks, and better self-esteem, confidence and social skills.
If you would like to attend our group please simply come along on the day as booking is not required. The group is free of charge and refreshments will be available.
