Eastleigh Community Showcase 2026
Eastleigh’s community spirit will take centre stage this September as local charities, voluntary organisations, clubs and support services come together for a free showcase.
The Eastleigh Community Showcase, hosted by charity Community First, will take place on Sunday September 20 from 11am to 3pm at The Point and neighbouring Leigh Road Recreation Ground. The free event will bring together more than 50 local exhibitors, giving locals the chance to discover the wide range of groups, clubs, activities and support services available on their doorstep. Eastleigh’s new Mayor, Councillor Richard Gomer, will also attend.
The showcase will highlight the many ways people can get involved locally – from joining a social group or trying a new activity to accessing support, meeting new people or volunteering their time.
Jo Proctor, Community Engagement Coordinator at Community First, said: “The Eastleigh Community Showcase is a brilliant opportunity to celebrate the local groups, charities and volunteers who do so much every day to support our community. Whether people are looking for a new hobby, want to meet others, need advice or support, or are interested in volunteering, there will be something for everyone.
“Eastleigh has a wonderfully diverse voluntary and community sector, offering activities, advice and practical support for people of all ages and backgrounds. This event brings that all together in one place, and we hope residents will come along, enjoy the day, try something new and discover more ways to be part of local life.”
The showcase will feature organisations spanning a wide range of interests and support areas, including youth groups, clubs for older residents, wildlife and conservation groups, health and wellbeing organisations, support services for people with additional needs, veterans’ groups and family-focused opportunities.
Entertainment will be provided on the Garden Stage outside The Point by:
