Shopmobility
Shopmobility is a community service that provides mobility scooters and wheelchairs to anyone over the age of 16 with short term or longer term mobility issues. The Service supports those that need assistance to get around town, to access shopping, services and leisure activities.
If you have a temporary or permanent disability, or are even just a little unsteady on your feet, we can help support you to maintain your independence. We have a selection of mobility scooters and wheelchairs available to hire during the day within our three town centre locations. We can also provide equipment for longer periods overnight for residents at home and people visiting and staying locally. Members can also book equipment to take away when going on holiday or day trips.
