Fareham Community Doesn’t Let Bad Weather Dampen Community Spirit For 2025 Showcase

On July 5th, Community First brought together 50+ groups, clubs, charities and organisations from all over the Fareham area to join together in Fareham Town Centre to create awareness of how they can help people and how people can help them. It was great to see so many brave the forecast of horrible weather, while the rain wasn’t at all as bad as promised, the wind certainly made up for it but we didn’t let it break out community spirit!

The day was officially opened by Community First Chief Exec, Tim Houghton and Mayor of Fareham, Councillor Louise Clubley, thanking the exhibitors who were in attendance and wishing them well for the conversations and networking to come. The Mayor then announced the bandstand’s first entertainment for the day, which would be continued by local groups throughout the event’s duration, and then began their tour of the causes’s stalls.
