Millions of people have been taking part in the month of celebration every June to cheers volunteers, connect with their neighbours, welcome refugees, support carers, raise awareness of loneliness, or simply to say thank you.

In celebration and to do our part to help boost awareness of the month, Community First will be highlighting a member a day for the whole month on our Facebook and LinkedIn pages.

These Members have been chosen mostly randomly so we look forward to highlighting the great variety of organisations and groups in Hampshire’s vibrant voluntary sector while spreading the word of the Month of Community.

The Month of Community includes many recognised awareness weeks such as Great Big Green Week (8-16 June), Carers Week (10-16 June) and Small Charity Week (24 – 28 Jun).
