Pompey Link is being funded by Portsmouth City Council as a pilot project for a 10-month period, with funding from the Portsmouth Bus Service Improvement Plan.

How it works

Pompey Link is an on-demand and pre-bookable local minibus service. It links Paulsgrove and Port Solent, an area of the city which is not currently served by any other bus connections.

We stop at bus stops in Paulsgrove and Port Solent. You can also travel between Port Solent, Queen Alexandra Hospital, and Cosham Interchange, where you can connect to other bus and rail services. Book a journey and our minibus will pick you up and drop you off at your closest bus stop.

PompeyLink is available from Monday to Saturday, 9am to 7pm (excluding bank holidays). Journeys are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Pompey Link is a shared service, so the bus might pick up and drop off other passengers who are travelling in the same direction as you.

Bookings are made using the Book a Journey app, or by calling our bus operator, Community First. To use the service, you will first need to register – see the ‘booking a journey’ section below for more information.
