Fareham Funding Fayre 2022
Community and Voluntary Groups as well as charities based in and around the Fareham Borough attended a free funding fayre last week, organised by us here at Community First.
It took place at Gateway Church on West Street, Fareham, and consisted of a panel of speakers from local, regional and national funders.
Delegates were treated to an array of fresh insights about making grant applications, as well as having the chance to ask their own questions of the well-informed speakers.
Guest speakers came from the National Lottery Community Fund and Crowdfunder UK as well as the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Community Foundation, Hampshire County Council, Action Hampshire, and Fareham Borough Council.
Charlotte Walker from One Community gave the concluding comments and thanks.
Lunch was provided by MUNCH CIC from Winchester, who use any profits to fund free community cookery lessons.
Thank you to everyone involved in helping make this fayre so impactful and effective and of course everyone who attended!
