Funding Opportunities
Need support finding funding? Our Community Development Team is here to help.
Increase your skills in sourcing funds with the right training courses.
Our grant funding programme supports registered charities delivering projects which help to improve people’s lives in communities across England, Scotland and Wales. We have set funding objectives, which are: 1. Tackling poverty and social deprivation; 2. Enhancing community spaces, facilities and services; 3. Improving health and wellbeing. Charities applying should ensure their project meets at meets at least one of the funding objectives. Grants are available for up to £10,000 for capital spend or direct project delivery.
For full eligibility criteria check out our Grant Funding Policy page.
The Fore fund small charities that make a big impact.
We offer unrestricted funding to help applicants grow, strengthen, become more efficient or resilient. We believe that by asking you and your charity what you need, our grants will create a transformational impact on your organisation.
We see applicants as experts in your own fields. We also know that many of the best people who run small charities don’t have lots of fundraising experience. Our approach is designed to level the playing field.
We are particularly keen to hear from grassroots organisations working with underserved communities.
We offer unrestricted grants that can be used for any purpose, including core costs and capital funding.
To apply for funding, organisations must first register some basic contact details at the start of the funding round. Dates for upcoming registration periods are always provided on our website in advance.
After rewarding over 20 different local organisations, and receiving more than 13,000 entries, last year, SPAR is back with the £100k Community Cashback campaign in 2024 and looking to help even more local communities!
Running until 22nd May, there are grants available covering all geographical regions across the UK. Amounts up to £10,000 are available, with a total pool of grants valued at £100,000.
