Community First Home Services is seeking to increase our workforce of Self-employed Gardeners & Handypersons in Fareham, Gosport, Havant and surrounding areas. This a great opportunity to grow your own business and manage a workload to suit your lifestyle.

Our gardening service provides cost-effective assistance for older/vulnerable people, who need assistance to maintain their home and garden, helping them to improve their quality of life and keeping them living safely and independently at home.

Location: Fareham, Gosport, Havant and surrounding areas

Hours: Flexible

Pay: £14 an hour

Do you love gardening and have a few hours to spare?

Do you want to:

  • Be self employed
  • Work flexible hours Monday to Friday
  • Manage your own workload?

Gardening tasks include:

  • Inside painting and decorating
  • External painting
  • Wallpapering
  • Building shelves
  • Putting up curtain rails
  • Mending and replacing fences
  • Installing grab rails
  • Installing stair rails
  • Repairing doors
  • Putting up pictures
  • Minor plumbing repairs: Tap washers & Plumbing in washing machines

It does not include:

  • Changing/fitting security alarms
  • Fitting fire alarms
  • Electrical Work

Handyperson tasks include:

  • General gardening work
  • Weeding
  • Mowing
  • Hosing
  • Light pruning
  • Hedge trimming

It does not include:

  • Garden waste removal
  • Tree maintenance

 

And you will need to be:

  • Compassionate and empathetic
  • Excellent communicators and can build rapport easily
  • Trustworthy, conscientious, reliable and punctual
  • Flexible and able to show initiative
  • Good listeners
