Learn the steps to funding success at Winchester Funding Fayre
Charities based in Winchester District are invited to attend a free virtual conference of funding insights provided by special guest speakers.
Winchester Funding Fayre is being organised by Community First in collaboration with Winchester City Council. It will take place via Zoom on Wednesday 15th September, starting at 09:00am and finishing at 1:00pm. The panel of speakers includes a whole host of local and national funders. Delegates will have the opportunity to gain fresh insights for their grant applications directly from the funders, as well as ask their own questions.
Guest speakers from the Institute of Fundraising, the National Lottery Community Fund and Crowdfunder UK will share top tips for funding success. Winchester City Council’s Grants team will present their wide variety of funding opportunities available to local organisations. Additionally, Hampshire & Isle of Wight Community Foundation, Energise Me, and South Downs National Park Authority will guide delegates on applying for their selection of locally focused grants.
Cllr Angela Clear, Cabinet Member for Communities and Wellbeing said: “We are proud to have such a vibrant voluntary community in the district. In addition to providing funding to our local voluntary organisations, our partnership with Community First is among the many ways in which we provide specialised resources and support to enable our communities to thrive. This joint event is an excellent opportunity for organisations to gain further insights into what funding is on offer and how to make the most of the support available to them.”
Please register via Eventbrite to secure your free place: https://winchfundingfayre2021.eventbrite.co.uk. Delegates will receive the Zoom link via email starting from two weeks prior to the event.
