According to Simon Sinek, “Communication is not about speaking what we think. Communication is about ensuring others hear what we mean.” It is very difficult to be a good leader without good communication skills. Effective communication is vital to gain trust, align efforts in the pursuit of goals, and inspire positive change in people and organisations. When communication is lacking, important information can be misinterpreted, causing relationships to suffer and, ultimately, creating barriers that hinder progress. However, good communication skills are not as common as they should be. After attending this training, you will better understand how to improve your leadership communication, which will deliver better results for you, your organisation and people you serve.
