Crowdfunding is a method of finance that’s surged in popularity amongst VCSE organisations across the last 5 years.

The UK is struggling and the demand on local community organisations to pick up the slack is growing every day. Yet how easy is it to get the finance that you need to ensure the provision and development of your services?

It’s not easy. With less grants available and many organisations too small to take on debt in the form of loans from social investors, we need to think about more collaborative methods of finance which draw funds from a variety of different sources.

Crowdfunding is an opportunity to raise unrestricted funds online from lots of different people and sources, who can contribute to a campaign by either donating money or by choosing a reward.

It’s not just about making an appeal online for help but a professional exercise which will help you to raise funds and also learn how to:
