Safe, legal and comfortable journeys are essential for passengers. The role of passenger assistants is key to ensuring a good experience for passengers. Our passenger assistant assessor training will allow delegates to assess their passenger assistants to ensure they understand all the elements of their role in upholding the standards of providing a safe, legal and comfortable journey.

By the end of this course, delegates should:

o Understand their role as a PATS Assessor
o Understand the key elements of delivering a Passenger Assistant Workshop
o Be able to use the PATS Facilitation Framework to effectively facilitate scenario based discussions

Successfully completing this course (passing the Facilitation Appraisal and Theory Assessment) will mean that the delegate can be
issued with a PATS Standard Assessor certificate, allowing them to deliver PATS Standard to Passenger Assistants.

Please note: To deliver PATS Accessible, they need to complete an additional training day. They also need to have completed the online PA course.
