Safeguarding Awareness Training
This practical 2.5-hour online course is designed to help staff and volunteers understand their role in keeping children and adults safe. You’ll learn how to recognise the signs of abuse and neglect, respond appropriately to concerns or disclosures, and follow the correct procedures for recording and reporting.
Through real-life examples and simple guidance, the course builds confidence in handling safeguarding situations, even when you’re unsure. It also covers your responsibilities, boundaries, and how to prioritise safety—both for others and yourself.
Ideal for anyone working or volunteering with vulnerable individuals, this session ensures you leave with clear, actionable knowledge you can apply immediately in your role. Delegates will need to provide a copy of their charities safeguarding policy before the course begins.
Includes assessment and certificate of achievement.
Note: If you are part of the Stanmore Community Network or your charity is registered in Eastleigh Borough funding from those areas means you can book at an additional discount £20 per person.
