This live online interactive 2.5-hour online course helps staff and volunteers build a clear understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion, and how these principles apply in everyday roles.
You’ll explore what it means to create inclusive environments, recognise and challenge discrimination, and understand the impact of bias—both conscious and unconscious.
Using real-life scenarios and practical examples, the course supports you to communicate more effectively, respect different perspectives, and promote fairness in your work with colleagues, service users and communities.
Ideal for anyone working or volunteering in community settings, this session will give you the confidence and tools to contribute to a more inclusive and respectful environment.
Delegates will need to provide a copy of their charities safeguarding policy before the course begins.
