Effective teams are resilient, efficient and impactful, but not all teams are effective. When they don’t work well a team can lead to conflict and get in the way of progress.
Our short courses and learning labs are a great way to create collaboration between team members that will strength teamwork. Each course can be scheduled separately, just what you need, just when you need it.
Team building/Collaboration Skills (2.5 hours)
This short session covers:
• The value of working as a team
• Types of teams
• The stages of team development and how to help a team move through them
• How to identify team member types and how to use them within their own team
• Developing team norms, ground rules and team contracts
• The critical role of communication skills in building and maintaining a team atmosphere, resolving conflict and solving problems

Conflict Management for Managers (2.5 hours)
This 2.5 hour session includes:
• How to read situations and defuse anger and anxiety
• Reflective listening
• Assertiveness and recognising body language signs
• Transactional analysis
• Dealing with the physical and emotional impact of difficult situations

Learn Lab: Exploring GROW coaching model to support your Team (1 hour)
Using a coaching style in leadership empowers employees to take ownership of their development, fostering a sense of autonomy and engagement as well as job satisfaction. In this session we will explore how to use the GROW model to support your team.
By the end of the session, you will be able to:
1. Describe the four stages of the GROW model: Goal, Reality, Options, Will.
2. Discuss how the model can improve employee performance, engagement, and development in your organization.
3.Plan your next steps for using the GROW model as a leader.

Tips for making your budget go further
1.Select or ask for volunteers to complete one or more of these short courses separately.
2.Ask participants to share what they have learnt with the larger team.
3.Task training participants to support the rest of the team to plan and implement improvements in team processes such as meetings, task management, customer management and more.
