About this venue

The Parish Hall is located a short walk from Hythe village centre alongside Ewart Recreation Ground. It offers a large hall and purpose-built stage. There is a large kitchen area with 2 serving hatches, a large reception area and cloakrooms. The hall is fully accessible and has a disabled toilet with baby changing facilities.

Capacity varies depending on the configuration, the following numbers are the maximum capacities:

• Weddings, using tables 100


• Seating - Theatre style 150


• Dances without tables and chairs i.e. standing 200

The main hall can be used for live performances, parties, weddings, conferences and meetings. An alcohol license is available and must be requested on booking.

Following an upgrade of audio and visual equipment, Hythe & Dibden Parish Hall is now available for music events and events where a large screen and projector is available. A Blue Ray / DVD player is also available if hirers require the capability to show films or training packages. (Please note: If showing films they must be properly licensed versions from Filmbank or another similar provider.)

There are 9 designated parking spaces during the day but more are available during the evening.
