Eastleigh Volunteer Fair 2026
Anyone in Eastleigh who’s thought about volunteering is invited to take that first step at the Borough’s Volunteer Fair on Thursday January 22, the first of Community First’s Volunteer Fairs throughout Hampshire for 2026.
The Eastleigh Volunteer Fair will be hosted by Community First at the Pavilion on the Park, offering an exciting opportunity for local organisations to connect with potential volunteers.
From 11am until 2pm, people can meet local charities and community groups, ask questions, and explore a wide range of volunteer roles, from conservation and fundraising to school governance and event support.

Tim Houghton, Chief Executive of Community First, said: “Volunteering transforms lives – it’s rewarding, social and a wonderful way to start the year with purpose.
“There is a common misconception that volunteering is only for the retired or unemployed, but anyone can make a difference, even if it’s for an hour a week. Whether it’s part of your New Year’s resolution, work experience to add to your CV, or simply a desire to give back, this fair is the ideal opportunity to take that first step on your volunteering journey.”
The volunteer fair is free to attend, with no ticket required. Refreshments can be purchased at the community café at Pavilion on the Park and parking on site is free.
