Catch-up: Fareham & Gosport Voluntary Sector Health Forum January 2021 Meeting
The Fareham & Gosport Voluntary Sector Health Forum was held on Wednesday 20 January 2021.
Ted Hill MBE was welcomed as Gosport Voluntary Action’s new Chief Executive Officer.
Jackie Hartless, Health and Wellbeing Manager, Community First, provided a short community & voluntary sector update for the Fareham and Gosport area.
Elizabeth Kerwood, Head of Communications and Engagement, Hampshire & Isle of Wight Partnership of CCGs provided an update including about the roll-out of COVID-19 vaccinations locally. The second part of the meeting involved break out rooms exploring the following two questions…
- What do you feel are the challenges facing you &/or your Service Users to accessing local services during & post COVID-19 and what could help?
- What support do you &/or your organisation/Service Users need going forward? A summary of the smaller group discussions was provided by the facilitators.
The structure for future virtual Health Forums was briefly highlighted and the meeting ended with the forthcoming Health Forum dates & times: 1-2pm Wednesday 24 March, 1-2pm Thursday 24 June and 1-2pm Tuesday 12 October 2021.
