Local Children’s Partnership

Objective

To ensure inclusivity across all local partnerships in each district working with Children & Young People and to ascertain local needs, gaps in needs and prioritise them.

Where

Community First organises the LCPs for East Hampshire, Fareham, Havant, New Forest and Winchester.

Purpose

They are a non-statutory organisation who represent the local community, work across statutory, non statutory and voluntary sector organisations and ensure delivery of the Children and Young People’s Plan (CYPP); There is 1 LCP per each District in Hampshire.

Governance Structure

Reporting to the Hampshire Children’s Trust Board through the LCP Chairs Forum and the Early Help & LCP Board.

Meetings are organised throughout the year to share promotional information and grant news. These are predominantly online via Teams but some are in person.
